Thor: The Dark World

Thor: The Dark World: No need to panic, but new scenes continue to be added to Marvel's Thor: The Dark World, including one or more featuring fan-favorite Loki (Tom Hiddleston), even though its worldwide release date is barely more than two months away. Director Alan Taylor says that's standard operating procedure for Marvel, which reserves part of the budget for each of its productions so it can fine-tune the movie up until the last possible moment. The Fault in Our Stars: Rapidly rising actress Shailene Woodley (The Spectacular Now) is not forgetting her roots. In the upcoming film The Fault in Our Stars based on John Green's best-selling novel, Woodley will play a teenager who is battling cancer. Green says that, on her own initiative, Woodley will be cutting her very long hair for the role this weekend and donating it to a charitable organization that provides wigs for young people who’ve experienced hair loss "due to cancer, burns or other medical conditions." Blue Caprice Trailer: A little more than 10 years ago, the area surrounding Washington D.C. was terrorized by sniper attacks, and those frightening days are re-created in Blue Caprice, which is heading to theaters in limited release on September 13. Isaiah Washington, Tequan Richmond, Tim Blake Nelson and Joey Lauren Adams star in the movie, and the chilling first trailer may jangle your nerves. [Thompson on Hollywood]

A.C.O.D. Trailer: On TV's Community Parks & Rec, Adam Scott and Amy Poehler play husband and wife. But in the upcoming movie A.C.O.D. (Adult Children of Divorce), Poehler plays Scott's stepmother. Happily, it's all for the sake of laughs, as Scott must navigate troubled waters when his bitterly divorced parents are forced to share the same space in order to attend a wedding. Richard Jenkins, Catherine O'Hara, Jessica Alba and Mary Elizabeth Winstead also star; the movie will hit theaters on October 4. [Yahoo! Movies]
