This Kid's 'Back to the Future' Costume Wins Halloween

Oct 26, 2012

Although it's his first Halloween and he has no idea what Back to the Future is, this kid still gets credit for having this year's most adorable movie-related Halloween costume. Inspired by a red vest that looked similar to the one Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) wore in Back to the Future, the one-year-old boy's mother took it upon herself (with some help from dad) to take the costume one step further by transforming his little $25 Step2 push car into the world's cutest DeLorean time machine.

Via mom's Flickr page: "I’ve always loved Back to the Future, and love cars since I was little and grew up going to car shows with my Dad; what better way to tote my 1yr old son around on Halloween than in a transformed $25 Step2 push car I bought off of the kidsale alias at work? So, I spent a few weekends and nights in October recreating the iconic DeLorean with cardboard, tape, paint, and a little help with some EL lighting from my husband, Jeremy. The perfect costume for Cooper’s first Halloween!"
