News arrived late yesterday that Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are interested in putting together a new big-screen version of the musical Guys and Dolls, subsequently melting the hearts of millions of girls everywhere. It's incredibly enticing, and it's the sort of star-studded heartthrob-y duo that should definitely give Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra (stars of the 1955 movie version) a run for their money.
Hearing word that Gordon-Levitt may finally make good use of his outstanding musical talents in a movie immediately had us time-traveling back to 2011 during a live performance for Gordon-Levitt's HitRECord traveling show. Fond of infusing these collaborative shows with musical performances, one of our all-time favorite Gordon-Levitt moments came when he decided to perform a cover of a very popular R. Kelly song.
Sure we love the dude in so many movies, but there's just something about this moment and the pure fun he's having up there on stage that kinda puts this at the top of the list when it comes to our all-time favorite JGL performance.
