ThinkGeek's April Fools' Gags: Bane Walkie-talkies, Death Star Trench Toss and More

Apr 01, 2013

Welcome to April Fools' Day 2013, officially kicking off 24 hours of... "Wait, is that real or fake?" While we sit and wait for a bunch of websites to unveil their devious (and hilarious, we hope) pranks, our first stop is always the online geek-related store ThinkGeek. Over the years ThinkGeek has come up with some wickedly devilish fake products for its April Fools' gags, except what makes them so memorable is that while they're totally fake, you actually want to own almost all of them. One of its most famous gags was the Tauntaun Sleeping Bag, which amassed so many fans that ThinkGeek actually produced and sold them for real.

Will that happen for any of its gag products this year? If it does, it may be for the Death Star Trench Toss, which converts the normal bag-toss game into one featuring the Death Star trench and beanbags shaped like X-Wing fighters. We're also fond of the Bane mask walkie-talkies, the Eye of Sauron desk lamp, the Alien Chestburster-in-a-can and its most morbid gag product, the Batman family car decal set.

Check out videos and images below, and more over at ThinkGeek. Which product would you actually want to own for real?
