The Last Unicorn Arrives Uncensored on Blu-ray in February

Dec 20, 2010

The 1982 cult classic animated film The Last Unicorn is not your usual sentimental kid flick by way of Disney. Based on the novel of the same name by Peter S. Beagle, the unusual film is about the world's sole remaining unicorn who goes on a quest to find out what happened to the last of her kind and features the voices of Mia Farrow, Alan Arkin, Jeff Bridges, Angela Lansbury, Christopher Lee and more. When the film was released on DVD only a few years ago, the audio was censored to remove some mild profanities and one image was blurred. The Blu-ray, which is coming on February 22, will not be censored in any way, although the "family friendly" audio track will remain available as an option for those with tender ears.
