See What 'The Hangover' Baby Looks Like Today

May 22, 2013

We can't imagine too many fans will be all kinds of emotional after officially saying farewell to the Wolfpack when The Hangover Part III hits theaters this weekend, but they may be surprised to learn that the filthy, foul-mouthed franchise actually does manage to lightly tug at the heartstrings during its 100-minute runtime. That's not to say you'll be begging your buddy for tissues as Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) find themselves in yet another crazy, far-fetched scenario that involves breaking into Mexican mansions and climbing down the front of Caesars Palace, but fans of the first (and best, in our opinion) Hangover will be delighted to see a familiar face return for part three: the baby.

Yup, the little baby who spent a good part of the first Hangover strapped to the stomach of Zach Galifianakis makes his triumphant return to the series as the most adorable little dude during one of the final installment's most memorable scenes. We won't spoil it for you, but suffice it to say this one scene alone is almost worth the price of admission.

His name is Grant Holmquist, and during the original Hangover he took turns playing the baby alongside his twin sister Avery. Now he's all grown up and primed to be this summer's cutest big-screen kid in a third Hangover that strays a bit from the first two by tackling a darker, grittier, more action-packed storyline instead of sticking with the yet another plot where the guys all wake up and need to figure out what happened the night before.

While it's a bit lighter on laughs, The Hangover Part III still manages a pretty successful finale that pays tribute to the two previous films while offering fans a little bit of everything, including a postcredits scene that's better than all the Marvel postcredits scenes put together.

The Hangover Part III hits theaters this weekend. Let us know what you think.
