A new Japanese trailer for The Avengers has crash-landed online, and with it comes a bunch of new footage. Right off the bat the first Marvel universe character we see is Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), confirming the actress will have some role in the superhero mash-up. There's also more here from Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), more aliens, a sweet shot of the helicarrier from above as it lifts off the water, and a bit more Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner). We're also digging the line from Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) at the end: "If we can't protect the earth, you can be damn sure we'll avenge it."
