'The Avengers' Deleted Scene: Watch a Great Moment That Didn't Make the Movie

Aug 20, 2012

With The Avengers out on Blu-ray this September 25, we're beginning to see the film return to our pop culture consciousness via various clips and featurettes, and now the deleted scenes are rolling in starting with this extended scene featuring a memorable moment between Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner and Harry Dean Stanton as a security guard who stumbles upon the scene after Hulk crash-lands on earth following a bit of a drop from the S.H.I.E.L.D. hellicarrier.

In the film their conversation is restricted to, like, two lines, but here it continues as Banner ponders where his human side ends and the Hulk begins. "I know where I can do the most good, but it's where I can do the most harm," he tells the security guard, with Stanton calmly replying, "Well that's no different than anybody else."
