Superhero Buzz: Zack Snyder's 'Wonder Woman' Cameo, 'Batman' Actors Say Good-bye to Adam West

We have some good news and some sad news involving superheroes over the weekend. Find out the latest below.

Zack Snyder Revealed His Wonder Woman Cameo

The above image can be seen in different forms in both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Wonder Woman (which still reigned at the box office in its second weekend). But only the vintage photograph version contains a special treat. Look at the below shot, taken with a vintage camera from the period, and you'll notice a minor difference in the background players. That guy to the Ewen Bremner's left (your right) is none other than BvS director Zack Snyder.

The revelation comes from the book Wonder Woman: The Art and Making of the Film, via ScreenRant, where you can find more photos taken behind the scenes during that setup. It's also apparently not from the same shoot as the rest of the Veld liberation sequence. Here's a quote from producer Deborah Snyder:

…it was an exciting first day of shooting since it was a passing of the torch. The photo links Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to Wonder Woman, so both Zack and Patty were present that day, working collaboratively. It was an exciting shared moment as we watched the DC world expanding and it was wonderful to be able to capture that moment in such a unique way. Photographer Stephen Berkman must have shot twenty glass plates before he, Zack and Patty all felt they had the winning photo, as shooting a daguerrotype is art wrapped in a science experiment.

Batman Actors and Artists Pay Their Respects to Adam West

Adam West wasn't the first actor to play Batman on-screen, but he was the introduction to the character for many of us, and he meant a lot to fans of the character and the 1960s show, as well as to the people who followed in his shoes. See some remembrances of the late actor, who died Friday, from fellow Batman players, actors from other incarnations, and a great comic book artist.

Tony Stark Mentors Peter Parker in New Spider-Man: Homecoming Featurette

The new Spider-Man seems to really depend on the help of Iron Man, aka Tony Stark, in more ways than one. The character appears in the new reboot, Spider-Man: Homecoming, in part to attract a wide audience who loves the Avengers movies and in part to literally give a hand to the young Peter Parker. Watch the new video via JoBlo.com below ahead of seeing the movie on July 7.
