This 2014 Video Montage Highlights Next Year's Biggest Movies

Dec 30, 2013

Amazing Spider-Man 2The year 2013 is rapidly drawing to a close, but it’s never too early to start looking ahead to the blockbuster movies we’ll all be watching next year. The year 2014 is certainly loaded with some huge titles, and this new super-cut video from our friends over at the Playlist is arguably the perfect cheat sheet to get you up to speed on what you’re going to be nerding out over for the next 12 months.

Hayden Vartiainen has put together a four-minute video that showcases footage from all the big titles (that we know about so far) scheduled for release next year. Add in some rousing music and dialogue snippets, and the whole thing is likely to inspire all sorts of feelings in movie geeks.

Featuring footage from films like The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Godzilla, Noah and The Lego Movie, there’s clearly a little something for everyone here – provided you’re not looking for indie and arthouse features. Those smaller films don’t tend to get trailers months and months ahead of their release, so this is mainly devoted to the potential blockbusters.

Watch the video and let us know which of these films you’re most excited to see (I’m still all about Godzilla, personally). No matter what your tastes, it looks like 2014 is shaping up to be another amazing year at the movies.
