Drive Angry—an action film starring
Nicolas Cage and
Amber Heard that underperformed at the box office—is ready to get its revenge on disc. Summit is releasing the film on May 31 on DVD, Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D—its first film released in the new 3D format. The film was shot natively in 3D for theaters, not some post-production rush job like
Clash of the Titans, so if done properly
Drive Angry should make 3D enthusiasts damn happy. Supplements include an audio commentary with filmmakers Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer, deleted scenes and, on the Blu-ray versions, a feature that lets you activate dynamic scene-specific features such as interviews with the cast and more.
