It's been less than a month since photo-sharing service Instagram introduced a new feature that lets users record up to 15 seconds of footage and share it with friends. It was only a matter of time before somebody used those precious, precious 15 seconds to make a movie. That somebody happens to be funnymen David Koechner (Anchorman) and Harland Williams (Half Baked). They've used the platform to create Steady and Shakes, a project they're calling the first ever "Instamovie."
The movie in question is more of a short, short film about a pair of heroic cops named Steady and Shakes. Nothing particularly exciting happens to them, but that's also kind of the point. The movie starts out so-so, but once it gets going it actually has quite a few laughs and is definitely shaping up to be something we'd gladly watch future installments of.
Check out all of the available parts below or at Koechner's Instagram feed.
