So Did the 'Star Wars' Blu-ray Boycott Work?

Sep 14, 2011

The six-film Star Wars Blu-ray set doesn't officially enter our galaxy until September 16th, and leading up to the release fans have been real vocal about boycotting the set because of the changes George Lucas made to the films (including adding a "No" to Darth Vader at the end of Return of the Jedi, and allowing the Ewoks to blink). So did all that hoopla make any sort of dent in online purchases of the Blu-ray collection?

But keep fighting the good fight Star Wars fans -- if anything, we'll always have your iconic war cry to fall back on.
