Based on this image, it doesn't appear that way ... unless Christopher Nolan and co. decided to drastically change Robin's origin story to that of a Gotham City beat cop who joins forces with the Batman to take out the evil Bane (Tom Hardy). No one really knows who Joseph Gordon-Levitt is playing in the ridiculously hyped-up Dark Knight Rises, except that his name is John Blake and he's a cop in Gotham. While shooting in New York City over the weekend, Gordon-Levitt was caught on camera for the first time in his cop uniform, and -- surprise! -- he looks just like a regular cop. Boring. However, none of these characters in Nolan's Batman films are as they seem, and so expect John Blake to turn into something much bigger than a regular old cop who escorts Bruce Wayne places.
