xXx: The Return of Xander Cage

We love to see new photos from upcoming movies because they often provide something quite different than what we might be expecting. The sequel xXx: The Return of Xander Cage is a perfect example.

The original xXx in 2002 including some sexy imagery but is mainly remembered as an extreme action movie. So our eyebrows were raised at the first image Vin Diesel shared from the sequel, featuring him in a tight clinch with a lovely, unidentified young woman in a bikini. Next we saw Diesel shirtless with Bollywood star Deepika Padukone in another intimate pose.

Confirming the trend, Diesel has shared another new, intimate moment with Padukone (see above). To balance that out, Diesel also shared a photo from the set that captures costar Donnie Yen -- currently starring in Ip Man 3 -- during his first day on the set.

Meanwhile, the first look at Diesel's Fast and Furious costar Michelle Rodriguez in her upcoming thriller Tomboy, A Revenger's Tale reveals her to be a very angry woman.

Tomboy, A Revenger's Tale

That's understandable, since she plays a hitman who is transformed into a woman by a villainous surgeon (Sigourney Weaver) and then seeks revenge. Denis Hamill wrote the script and action veteran Walter Hill (Bullet to the Head) is directing.

Lastly, we've also been treated to the first look at a new vehicle from Ghostbusters. We're already seen a nifty new Ecto-1 (i.e. the ambulance that serves as the primary transport vehicle) and now comes a look at a motorcycle that's been dubbed the Ecto-2.

Fans of the animated The Real Ghostbusters may remember that the series featured an autogyro that was called the Ecto-2. The new Ecto-2 includes a storage cart, which may prove helpful for whoever is riding the bike. We should learn more before Ghostbusters hits theaters on July 15.
