Comic-Con may be over, but we’re still finding all sorts of goodies from last week’s show. Today, we bring you a cool clip from Michael J. Bassett's long-awaited Silent Hill sequel, Silent Hill: Revelation 3D.
IGN debuted the footage at a panel devoted to the film over the weekend, and now the scene has made it online so those of us who weren’t lucky enough to make the trip to geek Mecca can see it for ourselves.
Sean Bean, Rhada Mitchell, and Deborah Kara Unger are back playing the same characters from the first film, and they’re joined by Adelaide Clemens, Carrie-Anne Moss, Malcolm McDowell and Kit Harington. Clemens stars as Heather Mason – a young woman who has recurring nightmares about a place called Silent Hill. It turns out the visions aren’t nightmares, but premonitions – and Heather soon finds herself in the titular town.
Based on Konami’s popular survival horror video game franchise, the original Silent Hill was directed by Christoph Gans and released back in 2006. It earned just under $100 million globally, and stands as one of the better game-to-film adaptations to date.
Check out the exclusive red-band clip from IGN’s Comic-Con panel below and let us know what you think. Are you ready for another trip to Silent Hill or will you be making other travel arrangements when this film lands in theaters on October 26th?
