Marilyn Manson channels Holy Mountain, quotes Shakespeare and the Bible, pierces and shaves naked ladies, and delivers more drum machine in his latest film/music venture, Born Villain. His partner and director on the project is none other than Shia LaBeouf, who recently struck up a friendship with the musician at a concert. The Transformers actor prefers to be behind the camera in his off-screen time, and recently directed Kid Cudi's Marijuana video, which apparently impressed Manson. From there, the unlikely duo embarked on an artistic journey together, which culminated in a book and the Born Villain short film. LaBeouf's girlfriend, Karolyn Pho, collaborated with the two artists on the book of photographs which accompanies the short. "Marilyn Manson to me is an indelible figure," LaBeouf recently told MTV News. "He's a big deal to me, and in my childhood, I don't know of a scarier figure in art. He, in my teenage years, was the scariest thing in the world, so part of me has always been intrigued."
Check out the LaBeouf's directorial talents in action below. It probably goes without saying, but this is NSFW.
