Afternoon Filler ('Star Wars' Edition): Here's One Cool Thing 'The Phantom Menace' Gave Us (Plus the Sexiest SW Tattoo Ever)

Looking over the Rotten Tomato ratings for the new releases gave us a chuckle when we noticed that out of all four new releases, critics still gave Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace the highest rating at 57% Rotten ... so at least it did something right. With so much hate being spewed at that poor Phantom Menace last week, we thought we'd give you something a bit more positive -- like this totally rad Darth Maul duel-bladed lightsaber nightlight. Sure, Darth Maul may have given you (or your kids) enough nightmares that it warranted a nightlight in the first place, so why not keep the theme going with this thing. We may pretend we're scared of the dark just to score one for our grown-ups room - the thing is that cool. [Geekologie]

Here's a pretty neat Star Wars commercial for Toys "R" Us out of Denmark. They decided to hire the folks who made that "Death Star over San Francisco" video to create a similar one featuring a Death Star over Copenhagen, plus a few more little treats. Little heavy on the effects at the end, but we dig the inventiveness. [Vulture]

Finally, we're officially declaring this the sexiest Star Wars tattoo in existence ... until proven otherwise, of course. [Slashfilm]
