Seth Rogen Comes at You in 3D in The Green Hornet on May 3

Justice has a new look, and this time it isn't wearing tights, mercifully. Britt Reid (Seth Rogen) is the party-boy son of L.A.'s most prominent media magnate in The Green Hornet. When his father dies, Britt inherits his media empire and decides to do something meaningful for the first time in his life: fight crime while behind the wheel of his indestructible car, the Black Beauty.

The superhero action comedy directed by Michel Gondry and costarring Jay Chou, Christoph Waltz, Tom Wilkinson and Cameron Diaz buzzes home on May 3 on DVD, Blu-ray and a DVD/BD/Blu-ray 3D combo pack. The DVD contains the "Awesoom" gag reel, commentary, "Writing The Green Hornet Feature" and "The Black Beauty: Rebirth of Cool" featurette. The Blu-ray adds "The Green Hornet Cutting Room," deleted scenes, several more making-of featurettes and some hidden Easter eggs, including Chou's audition and something called "Double Barrel."

The Green Hornet was shot natively in 2D and then upconverted to 3D, so it could either end up looking OK (like Alice in Wonderland or Piranha 3D) or pretty awful (like Clash of the Titans). The jury is out until May 3, but the Blu-ray 3D version will also include an exclusive 3D animated storyboard comparison.
