Prometheus: Ridley Scott has been teasing the universe about Blade Runner and Prometheus sequels for some time now, but in an interview with Metro, the filmmaker finally fessed up. The details are brief, but compelling. "Prometheus evolved into a whole other universe. You’ve got a person [Noomi Rapace’s Elizabeth Shaw] with a head in a bag [ Michael Fassbender’s David] that functions and has an IQ of 350. It can explain to her how to put the head back on the body and she’s gonna think about that long and hard because, once the head is back on his body, he’s dangerous," he told the website. Scott didn't say much about the mysterious Engineers, and threw our questions back in our face. "They’re going off to paradise but it could be the most savage, horrible place. Who are the Engineers?"
Blade Runner: In regards to a new chapter in the sci-fi classic Blade Runner, Scott confirmed, "It is happening. With Harrison Ford? I don't know yet. Is he too old? Well, he was a Nexus-6 so we don't know how long he can live." Keep your fingers crossed that Scott can squeeze these projects into his already busy schedule.
Chronicle: Sorry,
Chronicle fans. It looks like writer Max Landis has been having some issues behind the scenes of the sequel to the Josh Trank-directed film. Landis' father, acclaimed filmmaker John Landis, spoke to the Playlist about his son's troubles with part two in the sci-fi story that blends a coming-of-age tale with found footage. "He wrote a sequel, and it's amazing, and the studio read it and said, 'We want
Chronicle again.' And he said, 'No, this is the sequel, it's the evolution,' and they said 'No, we want that movie again!' So it's difficult, we're dealing with a difficult business." Bummed. Read the rest of Landis' interview

An American Werewolf in London.
The Bourne Legacy: "I'd really love to do another one because I love the character," Matt Damon recently
said of the popular
Bourne series. The actor also admitted that it would be "a real struggle to extend the franchise" since Bourne's search to "find his identity" was the backbone of the first films. Damon's not sure where filmmakers would go next. Jeremy Renner picked up the action thriller as Aaron Cross in the recently released
Bourne Legacy. Damon acknowledged that although the story took place concurrently with the events of the third movie (referencing Jason Bourne), "we'd have to acknowledge it in any
Bourne movie that we'd do. And that makes it really tough. I don't think we can do the
Dallas it-was-all-a-dream scenario. I don't think the audience would go for that after they paid money to see a movie." If you can figure out a way around Damon's dilemma, drop your suggestions in the comments below.
