Late-night talk show host Jimmy Fallon got to fulfill a childhood dream and play the 1997 Nintendo 64 video game GoldenEye 007 with former Bond star Pierce Brosnan. Sometimes life just isn’t fair. GoldenEye 007 was one of the games that helped elevate the platform to a realistic style, popularizing the first-person shooter, creating an immersive atmosphere. Brosnan only appeared in four 007 films, between 1995 and 2002. He had the good looks and charm of James Bond, but some audiences felt he lacked a lethal side. “I have no desire to watch myself as James Bond. 'Cause it’s just never good enough. It’s a horrible feeling,” the Irish actor told the Telegraph in April.
Unfortunately for Brosnan, Fallon kicks his butt in this video — but Brosnan’s legacy as 007 will live on.
