If you're a fan of Edgar Wright's "Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy" (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and the upcoming The World's End), then we suggest keeping tabs on the director for the next month or two as he's having a bit of fun looking back on both Shaun and Fuzz prior to the release of The World's End. Over at his official website, Wright posted images from a deleted scene in Shaun of the Dead that hilariously featured a bunch of zombie kids eating the ice cream man instead of his ice cream.
Wright explains, "Here’s a morsel of a deleted scene. I had seen an ice cream van with the amazing slogan ‘Often Licked, Never Beaten’ and had the idea to see zombie kids snacking on an ice cream man. We shot it from inside the Jag as a travelling POV shot. But it didn’t quite work. So it was cut from the movie. Luckily we still have those B&W pictures as proof of the abandoned idea. I feel no guilt about getting young kids to finger the inside of a bloody rib cage. I am sure they are all well adjusted adults now."

In addition to these gnarly shots of the poor ice cream man, a duo of new posters for The World's End have been released. You can see them below, then catch the movie in theaters on August 23 (or in the U.K. on July 19).
