See the 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' Video Game That Never Was

Jun 22, 2012

YouTube savant freddiew is best known for his effects-heavy videos that bring video game culture and staples into the live-action world. For his latest video, however, he's done the exact opposite; taking the live-action absurdity of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and turning it into a (video of a) video game.

Sadly it's not a real video game (way to miss out on a perfect product tie-in, Fox; if Piranha 3DD had the budget to do it, surely you could, too?), but the video's still worth watching just to see how a video game version of Seth Grahame-Smith's historically accurate novel would have been a fun fit for a side-scrolling, axe-swinging brawler in the vein of Streets of Rage.

Also, in case you missed it, here's our guest review of the latest from Timur Bekmambetov.
