Few writers or directors in Hollywood have stuck to, and mastered, their respective genre niches as much as David Ayer (Training Day, Harsh Times) in recent years. The man has been making gritty action movies about men in uniforms for over a decade, and he's shown no sign whatsoever of wanting to abandon that track. If anything, his last big hit - 2012's End of Watch - was him doubling down as the most reliable name in the business when it comes to cop thrillers. And now his new film Sabotage looks to keep that streak going.
Featuring the fantastic cast of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Olivia Williams, Mireille Enos, Sam Worthington, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Joe Manganiello, Max Martini and Josh Holloway, Sabotage is about an elite DEA task force (four of our favorite words to see in a plot synopsis) that busts one of the deadliest drug cartels in the world. That's the easy part, though. After their big raid, someone starts killing off members of the team, a sure sign of a double agent in their midst.
Sabotage hits theaters on March 28, 2014, and we've got the online premiere for a new TV spot teasing what's in store. Check it out.
