With V/H/S sequel S-VHS set to make its Sundance debut in the coming days, there’s probably no better time than the present to debut a teaser trailer for the found-footage anthology film.
EW scored the exclusive first look at the new feature – a follow-up to a film that debuted just this past October. Like the original film’s teaser, it’s hard to see much of what’s happening in this new clip – but there sure is a lot of potentially disturbing, almost-subliminal imagery flying by in the short clip.
The new film features another crew of up-and-coming horror filmmakers (and a few who don’t normally work in the genre as well) including Jason Eisner, Eduardo Sanchez and Gregg Hale, Adam Wingard, Simon Barrett, and a tag team contribution from The Raid filmmaker Gareth Huw Evans and Timo Tjahjanto.
Swing by EW for your first look at the freaky new clip.
Meanwhile, we’ve also got the official poster debut for Sundance’s psychological chiller In Fear to share as well. Jeremy Lovering’s debut feature is about “a young couple who gets lost in a maze of country roads and attempts to survive a night turned nightmare.” The film features performances from Iain De Caestecker, Alice Englert and Allen Leech.
Check out the artwork below. In Fear makes its festival debut on January 20 at midnight.
