Giveaway: 'Robot & Frank' Posters Signed by Frank Langella, Susan Sarandon and More

Aug 23, 2012

If you haven't made a point of seeing Robot & Frank yet, then what are you waiting for? The quirky heist movie with a ton of heart premiered back at the Sundance Film Festival to a crowd who absolutely fell hard for Frank Langella's cranky-yet-lovable senior as he attempted to navigate a world he couldn't remember. But when a robot comes along to assist Frank in his daily activities, the duo soon return to Frank's criminal past with hilarious and heartbreaking results.

In honor of Robot & Frank, which expands to more theaters this weekend, we're giving away two posters signed by Frank Langella, Susan Sarandon, director Jake Schreier and screenwriter Christopher Ford. In order to win one of these posters, all you have to do is leave a comment telling us what you'd use a robot for if you had one to assist in your everyday life (keep it clean folks). Make sure you leave a valid e-mail address when commenting and we'll randomly pick the winners in three days, so you have that much time to respond. Please note that this contest is open to U.S. residents 18 and over.

ROBOT & FRANK, the feature film debut of commercial director Jake Schreier, was a festival favorite at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival where it world premiered and was co-winner of the Alfred P. Sloan Feature Film Prize.

Set in the near future, Frank, a retired cat burglar, has two grown kids who are concerned he can no longer live alone.  They are tempted to place him in a nursing home until Frank's son chooses a different option: against the old man's wishes, he buys Frank a walking, talking humanoid robot programmed to improve his physical and mental health. What follows is an often hilarious and somewhat heartbreaking story about finding friends and family in the most unexpected places.

ROBOT & FRANK features an award winning cast including Academy Award nominee Frank Langella, James Marsden, Liv Tyler and Academy Award winner Susan Sarandon.

ROBOT & FRANK is the first film release from Park Pictures Features, the feature film division of parent company Park Pictures – one of the most prestigious commercial production houses.
