Release Dates: James Bond Sets More Dates for Next Adventure

Release Dates: James Bond Sets More Dates for Next Adventure

Jun 02, 2011

Just a quick note that the next James Bond film (the 23rd in the franchise; currently untitled) has set a US release date of November 9th, 2012 (which was previously announced), but it will arrive across the pond a drop earlier, though, with the UK and Ireland getting to see Daniel Craig back in action as 007 on October 26th, 2012.

Now that we have a release date, expect to receive some confirmations on casting. So far we know that Sam Mendes will direct, and everyone from Ralph Fiennes to Javier Bardem have been rumored to be circling roles, though nothing official has been announced. We're also awaiting word on who the new Bond girl(s) will be. Quantum of Solace helped launch Olga Kurylenko and Gemma Arterton, with the latter moving from Bond to other high-profile productions like Prince of Persia and Clash of the Titans. Will producers decide to stick with the up-and-coming actresses for Bond's next adventure, or will they cast a more familiar name? What do you want to see happen?
