Disney has unveiled the logo for Monsters University (AKA Monsters, Inc. 2).

Word was that Universal was going to give up on the overly ambitious and mega expensive Dark Tower series, but now Deadline reports that the studio will still take on the project at a much lower budget.  This deal is just sounding worse and worse as it goes along.

Empire has premiered the first image from Rian Johnson's time-travelling flick, Looper.  And as promising as this project is, there's just something about Bruce Willis in the first still that looks off.  Maybe if he were actually looking at what he was shooting at, it wouldn't look so strange.

Relativity Media is suing The Weinstein Company for a cool $20 million on the grounds that TWC knew they couldn't properly market Rob Marshall's musical Nine and are thus the reason it tanked at the box office.

Amber Heard will star alongside Shiloh Fernandez in the indie drama Syrup based on Max Barry's book about the cut throat world of soda manufacturing.

Tons of sales art is hitting the web all week thanks to all the distribution deals being made a Cannes right now and today is no exception.  If we're picking favorites, STYD gives us the funny poster for Sucker, while Dread Central gives us the rather striking art for the remake of the French flick Apartment 1303.
