If you somehow missed the news, The Avengers tickets went on sale today, so now's your chance to reserve seating at your favorite theater for the May 4 release. Meanwhile, Joss Whedon's been all over the place this weekend at Austin's SXSW film festival promoting The Cabin in the Woods, at the same time dropping some cleverly placed hints about his superhero spectacular --like the chief villain not being the Skrulls or the Kree, that he's interested in directing the sequel, and more.
As well, AMC is holding multiple screenings of the Marvel oeuvre, culminating with a midnight showing of Avengers in 3D. For a mere $40, you get in order:
The Incredible Hulk
Iron Man 2
Thor in 3D
Captain America in 3D
The Avengers in 3D
Limited engagements for the event billed as The Ultimate Marvel Marathon are on sale now for locations in Boston and San Francisco, with additional theaters to be added.
What do you say...will you be there May 4? Interested in checking out the Marvel marathon in your town?
