New Braaaaaaains The merry-go-round continues to spin for the David O. Russell-penned adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s Jane Austen literary mash-up,
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Russell was recently replaced as director by Mike White, probably because he’s getting ready to make the next great adapted video game stinkfest in
Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune.
Natalie Portman, who was set to star until
Black Swan Oscar buzz kicked up (shocker), is also out. Now the
word is that
Anne Hathaway is being eyed as a replacement Elizabeth Bennett, and that
James McAvoy is being similarly considered for the male lead, Darcy. --
