Poster-Crop Quiz: Can You Guess These Time-Travel Movies?

Poster-Crop Quiz: Can You Guess These Time-Travel Movies?

May 22, 2014

Check your flux capacitors, readers, because it's time for another Poster-Crop Quiz. In honor of the new X-Men flick hitting theaters, we're celebrating our own days of future past... that is to say time-travel movies of the past... nevermind, paradox. We have gathered together posters from 10 of our favorite time-travel movies, and then accidentally sent them to the ancient era of the Vikings. When we brought them back to the present, they had been hacked to pieces.

See if you can identify the posters from their sliced and diced remains, leaving your guesses in the comment section below. The first person to correctly name all 10 posters will receive a shout-out in next week's quiz. Be quick, time is of the essence.

To kick things off, we thought we'd take a good look at the poster for one of cinema's boldest sequels: Back to the Future Part II. Not only does BTTF Part II show us EXACTLY what next year will look like, but it also traveled back to the events of the first movie! Given that sequels are always immediately judged against their predecessors, this demonstrated Robert Zemeckis' massive pair of brass pendulums.

Last week's answers: Alien, The Thing, Cloverfield, The Mist, Gremlins, The Host, Jaws, Super 8, Jurassic Park, King Kong.

Congrats to last week's quiz-acing monster: GrimWolf!
