Poster-Crop Quiz: Can You Guess These Historical Epics?

Poster-Crop Quiz: Can You Guess These Historical Epics?

Dec 12, 2014

Prepare yourselves, readers, for a truly epic Poster-Crop Quiz! This week, in honor of Exodus: Gods and Kings, we are sweeping back through the history of film and celebrating some of our favorite historical epics! These movies are triumphs of spectacle and prove to be far more exciting than any history class we ever sat through.

See if you can identify the posters from their epically cropped pieces, leaving your guesses in the comment section below. The first person to correctly name all 10 posters will receive a shout-out in next week's quiz. It won't mean much now, but we're almost positive future generations will celebrate you as a hero!

To start us off in the right... uh... Testament, take a look at a previous classic interpretation of the story of Moses: The Ten Commandments.

Last week's answers: American Psycho, Walk the Line, Election, Vanity Fair, Four Christmases, This Means War, Just Like Heaven, Mud, Legally Blonde, Monsters vs. Aliens.

Props to TomNewYorker for acing last week's quiz!
