Poster-Crop Quiz: Can You Guess These Haunted-House Movies?

Poster-Crop Quiz: Can You Guess These Haunted-House Movies?

Sep 11, 2013

Call your realtors, boys and ghouls, because this week's Poster-Crop Quiz is all about haunted houses. Yes, in honor of the release of James Wan's Insidious: Chapter 2, the sequel to his outstanding 2010 domestic-haunting flick, we have gathered together posters from 10 of our favorite titles from this horror subgenre. That said, the thought of all these ghost-harboring homes existing together in the same neighborhood is more terrifying than we care to ponder. See if you can identify all 10 posters from their cropped-down images. The first person to name all 10 in the comment section will receive a shout-out in next week's quiz. However, the otherworldly screaming coming from your basement at exactly 3:15 a.m. every night... that's not us.

To get things started right, here is the poster for the first Insidious. In the film, the paranormally besieged family found it difficult to escape their ghostly fate. For you see, it wasn't the house that was haunted... it was their child! That's why the creepy creeper son is the focus of the poster.

Last week's answers: A Man Apart, Saving Private Ryan, The Iron Giant, The Fast and the Furious, Boiler Room, Pitch Black, XXX, Knockaround Guys, The Pacifier, Find Me Guilty.
