In this week’s Admission, Tina Fey, admissions officer, is fond of telling prospective applicants that there is no “secret” to gaining admittance to an Ivy League school like Princeton, where 99% of the applicants are rejected; they simply must do their best. But she’s tempted to bend the rules for an underachiever when old flame Paul Rudd tells her that the kid may be the son she gave up for adoption. Contrary to what Ms. Fey tells would-be applicants, however, many other movies have been more than happy to expose their “secrets.”

Here are 10 ways to get into college, according to the movies.
