Eye in the Sky

Eye in the Sky: The first look at Aaron Paul (Need for Speed) in the upcoming thriller Eye in the Sky reveals his role as a "morally burdened" drone pilot. His earthbound character is part of an operation to capture terrorists, but a crisis erupts when a young girl enters the "kill zone." Paul leads a cast that includes Helen Mirren, Colin Firth, Alan Rickman and Barkhad Abdi; the movie will be released next year. [The Wrap]

John Wick

Replicas: Hot off his starring performance in the action flick John Wick, Keanu Reeves will next take the lead role in Replicas. The sci-fi thriller follows a scientist (Reeves) who is determined to bring his family back to life after they are killed in an automobile accident. Filming is slated to begin next spring; Tanya Wexler (Hysteria) will direct.

Bad Words

IPO Man: Jason Bateman will star in and direct IPO Man. The real-life comedy is based on an article by Joshua Davis in Wired magazine about a man who sold shares in himself (actually, his future earnings) and then quickly saw his life get complicated when investors insisted on deciding things in his personal life, such as romantic relationships. Paddington Trailer: A new trailer for the family-friendly Paddington features a new voice for the talking bear: Ben Whishaw (replacing Colin Firth). The adorable bear travels from Peru to London in search of a new home; human costars include Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi and Nicole Kidman. Look for it in U.S. theaters on December 12. [Studio Canal]
