There's not a lot here to get excited about, but that will change when Sam Raimi's Wizard of Oz prequel, Oz the Great and Powerful, debuts its first trailer this Thursday, on the same day its set to invade San Diego Comic-Con with what we imagine will be even more footage. But for starters, Entertainment Tonight has this little report from the set in which they chat up the soon-to-be wizard himself, James Franco, as well as one of the three witches featured in the film, as played by Mila Kunis, who calls this "a little bit darker, a little more grounded" than the original, adding that there's no singing or dancing.
The film will follow the story of the wizard before he becomes the wizard; when he's just a traveling magician who, according to Franco, is a little bit of a ladies man and a little bit of a con man whose "search for his heart will be one of the main themes of this movie."
