Back in June we were happy to bring you the poster premiere for Outrage, the latest Yakuza film from iconic Japanese actor/director/badass Takeshi Kitano. And now that the film is available On-Demand in the US thanks to Magnolia, we're even happier to be able to share with you an exclusive clip from the film which, as you'd expect from a Kitano film, has all the right amounts of stylish Japanese men yelling at each other and slicing off fingertips (or attempting to, at least).
You can head to OutrageFilm.com for more info, but here's the official synopsis for those who unsure of what to expect. Or you could just trust us when we say Outrage is worth your time and you should go fire up your On-Demand platform of choice this weekend and check it out. And if you still prefer to see movies on the big screen whenever possible, Magnolia will be rolling out the film in theaters starting on December 2nd.
"In a ruthless battle for power, several yakuza clans vie for the favor of their head family in the Japanese underworld. The rival bosses seek to rise through the ranks by scheming and making allegiances sworn over saké. Long-time yakuza Otomo has seen his kind go from elaborate body tattoos and severed finger tips to becoming important players on the stock market. Theirs is a never-ending struggle to end up on top, or at least survive, in a corrupt world where there are no heroes but constant betrayal and vengeance."
