If you thought
Voyage of the Dawn Treader was going to be the end of the Narnia movie series, think again. Fox is
reportedly skipping ahead in the series and planning on filming the sixth book in the seven-novel series titled
The Magician’s Nephew. Walden Media president Michael Flaherty said that
The Magician’s Nephew is the second most popular book in the Narnia series so, “it’s a guaranteed blockbuster hit.” No word on casting and such, but box office grosses for the Narnia series have been on the decline domestically since the first movie,
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe hit theaters. Which begs the question, are you looking forward to more Narnia or should this series be put to rest?
