If for someone insane reason you had concerns that Wrath of the Titans, the Jonathan Liebesman-directed sequel to 2010's Clash of the Titans, wouldn't feature Sam Worthington running at high speed over rocky terrain while gripping weapons of steel, you can stop your panicked worrying. The first image from the film, which premiered in Entertainment Weekly, has hit online (via IndieWire) and... yep, that looks like a sequel to Clash of the Titans alright. If the Gods took it too far in the first film, they've apparently taken it even farther this time: Not only is Worthington's Perseus still running over rocky terrain, but he's now clutching steel weapons in both hands!
Wrath of the Titans will open on March 30th, 2012 and features many of its predecessor's cast, though with notable additions Bill Nighy and Rosamund Pike.
The other new image of the day belongs to Neighborhood Watch and it's guaranteed that if you're a big fan of The IT Crowd, your first reaction upon seeing it will be to yell out Moss! That's right, the great Richard Ayoade stars alongside Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, and Jonah Hill (and Will Forte and Billy Crudup, but they're not pictured) in this comedy about four men who, you guessed it, find themselves serving on the neighborhood watch. And while that's an amusing enough premise for a comedy, it also apparently involves a supernatural element they must fight. If we weren't sold on the cast alone, that certainly seals the deal.
And finally, today doesn't bring any new images of Ridley Scott's newest sci-fi film, Prometheus, but it does bring higher resolution versions of the images that recently hit the web. So if you'd like a clearer look at Michael Fassbender as a droid or whatever that giant face is, head on over to FuriousFanboys.com for the full set.
