A Good Day to Die Hard

We hope you’re ready for some more John McClane – because we’ve got the newest trailer for the upcoming A Good Day to Die Hard ready for your viewing pleasure.

It’s no secret that most of us here at Movies.com are Die Hard fanatics (forget 24 hours of A Christmas Story – we run 24 hours of Die Hard around these parts on Christmas Day), so, even if the sequels have failed to live up to the original, we’re excited about a new adventure involving Bruce Willis’ grizzled cop John McClane.

The new trailer isn’t likely to convince anyone that A Good Day to Die Hard is going to be on the level of the first film, but it hits most of the proper Die Hard notes: big explosions, John McClane taking on insurmountable odds, bravado-laden one-liners and so on.

The latest entry finds Willis teaming up with his son to take on a Russian terrorist in the former Soviet Union. Bullets will fly and many things are sure to be destroyed by the time it’s all over with.

Check out the trailer below, then swing by our post from yesterday highlighting the coolest couch-related story you’ll ever read about the original Die Hard. Seriously – it’s a great story.
