New 'Black Panther' Trailer Teases Something We've Never Seen Before

Oct 16, 2017

"I have seen gods fly. I've seen men build weapons that I couldn't even imagine. I've seen aliens drop from the sky. But I have never seen anything like this." - Black Panther

As the release of Thor: Ragnarok approaches, a new trailer for the next Marvel movie has arrived. Black Panther follows up its teaser released back in June with the first full trailer (and a new poster, seen down below) for the highly anticipated superhero blockbuster. This time, set to the sounds of Vince Staples mixed perfectly with dialogue from the movie, we see more of the villains in action. There's Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) revealing his own leopard-headed Black Panther costume, as well as Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis) shooting his sonic arm cannon.

Of course, overshadowing them all is the title hero, aka T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman), flipping above cars that are themselves flipping over in slow motion. And tons more action, as Black Panther gets his claws out and tries to save his kingdom from being taken over and exploited. "I've waited my entire life for this," Killmonger says of his attempted coup. "The world's gonna start over. I'm 'a burn it all." Will he succeed? For the fans, this is not about starting over so much as beginning a new franchise for a character they've been waiting their entire life to see on screen in his own movie.

Watch the trailer below.
