Image of the Day: National Lampoon's 'Vacation' in Real Life

Aug 01, 2011

We're, um, dying to know the real story behind this image, which shows a mini-van with Florida plates driving along with a coffin strapped to its roof and a sign underneath that reads, "Honk for Grandma!" Either it's a) an elaborate prank, b) a really cheap funeral procession, or c) fresh footage from the National Lampoon's Vacation remake nobody asked for (except, instead of Aunt Edna, it's Grandma up there on the roof of the car this time).

What do you think is really going on in this photo?
