On this installment of Movies IRL ("In Real Life" for those not up to speed on the latest web lingo), two people (believed to be a man and a woman) dressed up as nuns and robbed a bank in Chicago. The crime is similar to the fictional events in the movie The Town, which starred and was directed by Ben Affleck, who played the member of a gang of bandits who rob banks wearing nun costumes. The robbery occurred in broad daylight at a TCF bank in Palos Heights, and a video (watch it here) shows the "nuns" ordering a woman to fill up a duffel bag with money while holding a gun to her head.
Tellers described the incident as a "takeover-style heist", adding that "the individuals came in and took over the bank, instructing tellers to do what the [sic] say or be harmed." Thankfully no shots were fired and no one was hurt, but the robbers did make off with an undetermined amount of money and there are no leads at this time. Paging Ben Affleck, there's a sequel brewing over in Chi-Town ...
