Z for Zachariah

Sundance Film Festival: The 2015 Sundance Film Festival announced more than half of the 118 features it will screen in Park City, Utah. Highlights include postapocalyptic drama Z for Zachariah (above), starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Margot Robbie and Chris Pine, and Call Me Lucky, a documentary by Bobcat Goldthwait about a comic who became a peace activist. The festival runs from January 22 to February 1; visit the official site to see all the titles announced so far.

22 Jump Street / Whiplash

Arms and the Dudes: Jonah Hill (22 Jump Street) is now set to star in Arms and the Dudes, to be directed by Todd Phillips (The Hangover) -- and Miles Teller (Whiplash) may join him. Based on a true story, the actors would play drug abusers who somehow become major arms dealers in Afghanistan; Jesse Eisenberg and Shia LaBeouf were previously touted for the roles. [The Wrap]

The Crow

The Crow: Will we ever see a new movie based on The Crow? Back in 1994, Brandon Lee starred in the first adaptation of James O'Barr's comic book series, focusing on a man who comes back from the dead to avenge the murder of his one true love. A new version has been in the works for years, but it could finally be moving forward with news that music video veteran Corin Hardy will direct the movie. [Heat Vision]

'71

'71 International Trailer: Jack O'Connell (Unbroken) stars in the action-packed thriller '71. The trailer establishes the premise: he's a British soldier accidently left behind when troops pull out of a dangerous situation in Belfast, Ireland in 1971. The movie will be released in U.S. theaters on February 27, 2015. [Movie Clips]
