Movie News: Stallone Says Nic Cage Not in 'Expendables 3;' Filthy 'Movie 43' Trailer Pushes Very Adult Buttons

The Expendables 3: Is Nicolas Cage in or out of The Expendables 3? We passed along a recent report from a Spanish newspaper, apparently confirming that Cage would be starring in the next installment of the action series, but now director/star Sylvester Stallone says he has “no knowledge” of such a thing; he claims the comments were made during a European press junket this summer and he was only answering a question about who he’d like to have in the cast. World War Z: Oh, dear. We were feeling cautiously optimistic after seeing the first footage from zombie epic World War Z, starring Brad Pitt, but the first poster tells us absolutely nothing about the movie, other than that it’s due in 2013. Reportedly, the production has been troubled, and the release date was pushed back months to accommodate script rewrites and more reshoots than usual. The first trailer is due to hit sometime tomorrow, so perhaps that will fill in the blank spaces on the very, er, minimal poster. [Hey U Guys UK]

Need for Speed: The next (hopeful) automotive franchise is gathering momentum. Dreamworks is getting Need for Speed up and running, aiming at a release date of February 7, 2014. Aaron Paul and Imogen Poots have already been cast, and Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The First Avenger, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) is in talks to play a former NASCAR driver turned businessman. Scott Waugh (Act of Valor) is set to direct. [Variety via The Film Stage]

Movie 43 Trailer: Filthy, filthy, filthy! A new red-band trailer for upcoming all-star sketch comedy Movie 43 is definitely not safe for work, featuring multiple f-bombs and Jason Sudeikis riffing on Kristen Bell’s lady parts; the film is due in theaters on January 25, 2013. This trailer is NSFW. [Yahoo! Movies via Collider]
