Transformers: Age of Extinction: The first character poster for Michael Bay's Transformers: Age of Extinction, featuring Mark Wahlberg, has dropped ahead of today's debut of the first trailer. The movie opens on June 27, and, as of early this morning, we still don't have an official plotline! [Latino Review]

Transformers: Age of Extinction

Battle Creek: Bryan Singer is returning to television. He'll direct the pilot episode of Battle Creek, the new series from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan and House M.D. creator David Shore; it's about two cops in Michigan with differing world views. Singer directed the pilot episode of House M.D. back in 2004, not to mention X-Men: Days of Future Past, which opens on May 23. [The Wrap]

Captain Phillips: Barkhard Abdi vaulted from the ranks of the unknowns thanks to his sterling performance as a modern-day pirate in Captain Phillips, which earned him an Academy Award nomination as Best Supporting Actor. But he's still "struggling to make ends meet," having earned the very modest (by Hollywood standards) sum of $65,000 for his work in the movie; all his clothes have been on loan from the studio, and he relies on a friend to get around town. Sabotage Clip: Things are tense in a new clip from Sabotage, and it's up to Arnold Schwarzenegger to put a stop to the tension. He's the leader of an elite DEA team that suffers consequences that he describes as "occupational hazards" when they go up against a powerful cartel. Look for the movie in theaters on March 28.
