Movie News: New 'Terminator' Moves Forward; Watch First 'A Wrinkle in Time' Trailer

Terminator: After securing Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton and director Tim Miller (Deadpool), the next installment in the Terminator series continues to move forward. Veteran scribe Billy Ray, an Academy Award nominee for Captain Phillips, has now been hired to rewrite the screenplay, which is based on a story by producer James Cameron that follows events after Terminator 2: Judgment Day and introduces a new set of characters. I Almost Forgot About You: Viola Davis (Fences, above) will star in an adaptation of I Almost Forgot About You, based on the popular novel by Terry McMillan. The story follows a successful optometrist who embarks on a journey of self-discovery. Malcolm D. Lee (Girls Trip) will direct. Oscar winner Ron Bass (Rain Man) will write the screenplay with McMillan; the duo previously teamed to adapt McMillan's Waiting to Exhale and How Stella Got Her Groove Back. [Deadline]

A Wrinkle in Time Trailer: In the fantastical first trailer for A Wrinkle in Time, a girl (Storm Reid) searches for her missing father (Chris Pine, above) through space and time. Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Zach Galifianakis and Mindy Kaling also star. Directed by Ava DuVernay, the adventure will open in theaters on March 9, 2018. [Movieclips]


The Incredibles

The Incredibles 2 Teaser: The first teaser for the long-awaited sequel to The Incredibles (above) introduces the infant Jack-Jack, whose unique abilities are discovered by Mr. Incredible (voiced by Craig T.
