Star Wars Rebels

Star Wars Rebels: We've already met Disney's first new Jedi, gun-slinging cowboy Jei Kanan, and now two more characters from the upcoming animated series Star Wars Rebels have been revealed. Ezra is the "street-smart hero," a 14-year-old con artist, while Zeb is "the Muscle," a highly educated honor guard. The series will air this fall on Disney XD. [IGN]

Ride Along 2: Building on his success as a stand-up comedian, Kevin Hart powered Ride Along to big box office numbers -- $120 million and counting, against a reported budget of $25 million -- so it's no surprise that a sequel is on its way. Director Tim Story is already locked for Ride Along 2, with Hart and costar Ice Cube in negotiations to return. The script is said to feature more action than the first and will also be "more multicultural." [Deadline]

All the Way. Bryan Cranston made his Broadway debut over the weekend, portraying President Lyndon Baines Johnson in the historical drama All the Way. Cranston's star power was sufficient to place in the top 10. Sales were still far behind long-running musicals such as Wicked, The Book of Mormon and The Lion King, but were notable for a new, nonmusical production. [Variety]

22 Jump Street Trailer: We're describing a new trailer for 22 Jump Street as "safe for work," but be advised that it still contains some salty, PG-13 language -- and, as a bonus, it features a different ending than previous trailers. Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum star in the sequel, once again directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (The Lego Movie). Look for it in theaters on June 13. [Sony Pictures]
