Hail Caesar: Joel and Ethan Coen are readying their next film project. Hail Caesar is said to be "a comical yarn" set in 1950s Hollywood, revolving around a "fixer" named Eddie Mannix who works for the major studios protecting their stars from scandals; it's not clear if it's inspired by a real-life studio executive of the same name. The Coens previously explored 1940s Hollywood in their 1991 flick Barton Fink. [Deadline]

The Purge: Anarchy

The Purge: Anarchy: If you enjoyed last year's The Purge, a mobile attraction will allow you to immerse yourself in that experience by being "held captive by a demented psychopath." Ticket buyers must work together to solve "mind-bending puzzles to escape captivity." The attraction visits Atlanta beginning on May 30 and will travel to Miami, New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago and Dallas before capturing interested citizens in Los Angeles. A sequel, The Purge: Anarchy, opens in theaters on July 18. [The Hollywood Reporter]

The Vanishing Act Trailer: Too soon? Malaysian Airlines Flight 370, missing since March 8, will be the subject of a movie by Indian director Rupesh Paul. The filmmaker claims that a Malaysian journalist presented him with a new theory about the plane's disappearance, and he will base his movie The Vanishing Act on that idea. In search of financing for his $3.5 million project, Paul presented a trailer in Cannes. [Variety]
