The Amazing Spider-Man 2

The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Recently we caught a glimpse of Jamie Foxx as the insane-looking (and very blue) villain Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and now a photo of him as his nerdy alter ego Max Dillon has surfaced, courtesy of Twitter-friendly director Marc Webber. And, not to be outdone, costar Dane DeHaan tweeted a photo of himself as his alter ego, aka Harry Osborn. The movie opens in theaters on May 2, 2014. [Coming Soon]

The Crow: The on-again, off-again new version of The Crow has floundered due to its inability to secure a leading man to step into the shoes filled by the late Brandon Lee, who tragically died during production of the original film in 1993; Bradley Cooper, Channing Tatum, Mark Wahlberg and James McAvoy have been among the names mentioned. Now Tom Hiddleston, who played the chief villain in The Avengers, is in early talks to star. A script is ready and F. Javier Gutierez is attached to direct; the producers hope to begin shooting this fall. [The Wrap]

Wallace and Gromit: Nick Park created the beloved, clumsy human/smart dog team of Wallace and Gromit in a series of short stop-motion animated comedies, the first appearing in 1989. Later they starred in a funny and clever feature film. Next up: a theme park ride! It’s called the Thrill-O-Matic, a roller coaster based on their adventures, built as part of an amusement park in the seaside town of Blackpool. It’s been three years in the planning. [The Guardian]

Man of Tai Chi Trailer: The new poster for Keanu Reeves’ Man of Tai Chi just debuted, and the first trailer has followed it online. Little is revealed about the storyline, though it appears that a martial arts tournament will form the spine of the narrative. Otherwise, Keanu speaks, bodies are punched, and kicks are landed. The movie does not yet have a U.S. release date. [Twitch]
